Li Zhan-Guo MD, PhD,

Professor and Chief of Department of Rheumatology and Immunology.

The Vice President of Clinical Immunology Association of China

The Vice President of Chinese Rheumatology Association.

Clinical Interests :

He has been working in clinical rheumatology and research for more than 20 years and has many years' experience in rheumatoid disease, such as systemic lupus erythematoses (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondilitis (AS), vasculitis and so on.

Research Interest:

His research interests focus on mechanism and immunotherapy of RA, early diagnosis and treatment of SLE and Sjogren's Syndrome etc. He is currently the editor or chief editor of 8 Rheumatology and Immunology textbooks.

Publications and Research fundings:

From 1985, he has published over 120 peer-reviewed papers, including 25 in English, mainly in Immunology, Scand J Immunology, Cell Immunology, European J Immunology, Arthritis Rheumatism, Chinese J Immunology, Chinese J Rheumatology and Chinese Medical Journal etc. In the last 5 years, about 20 national and local government research grants have been funded with ¥ 4 millions (US$ 500,000) in supporting his research work.

Professor Li is currently the e ditor and reviewer of Scand J Immunol , Chi J Immunol, Chi J Rheumatology, J Internal Medicine, National J Medicine (English), National J Medicine, and Chi J Clinical Rehabilitation etc.

Su Yin MD,

Professor, and Vice Chairman of Department of Rheumatology and Immunology.

Clinical Interests :

Systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondilitis, dermatomyositis/polymyositis, systemic sclerosis, Behcet's disease, Chronic pain, Wegener's granulomatosis, microscopic polyangiitis, Churg-Strauss vasculitis, fibromyalgia.

Research Interest:

Role of anti-nucleosome antibodies in SLE

New auto-antibodies in SLE diagnosis

Novel immunotherapy approaches of SLE

Clinical trials of prednisone and CTX treatment in SLE

Zhang Xuewu Associate Professor

Clinical Interests :

Systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, dermatomyositis/polymyositis, systemic sclerosis, Behcet's disease, Chronic pain.

Research Interest:

Estrogen receptor and ovary function in SLE

New therapy in SLE

Chen Shi Associate Professor

Clinical Interests :

Systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondilitis, Chronic pain.

Research Interest:

Function of anti-mDNA and anti-Hu antibodies in SLE.

Autoantibodies in NPSLE.
